Figure Skating
A Freestyle session is for figure skating only. Freestyle ice time is designated practice time for figure skaters with the ability to take private lessons during this time. Skaters must understand the patterns used on the ice for jumps, spins and moves-in-the-field. These sessions are open to all levels unless noted otherwise. If your skater would like to skate on a Freestyle session, but doesn’t know the proper ice patterns please ask a coach for a brief explanation.
Private Lessons:
• Private lesson times and pricing are worked out between the student, parent and instructor.
• Skaters MUST pay for their ice time BEFORE their lesson.
Guest Coaches • All guest coaches must be approved by the Skating Director and/or General Manager

River City Skating Club
THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO START SKATING!
We are a 501c3 non-for-profit figure skating club located in Grand Junction Colorado. Our home rink is The River City Sportplex. This facility is where our figure skaters perform and learn their craft. The rink is our primary donor and helps our members achieve their dreams. However it does take a village to accomplish all that needs to be done. Please help our kids and adults continue on their path by donating today.
