Registration is open for Learn to Play and
Mile High Mites!
How to Get Started
Learn to Play is our bridge program between Learn to Skate and River Hawks Youth Hockey. This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of proper skating and stick handling.
All participants must complete our Learn to Skate program and/or Mile High Mites before joining Learn to Play. This ensures each child has a strong foundation on the ice to safely and successfully begin learning hockey.
Not sure if your child is ready for Learn to Play?
Talk to our Learn to Skate Coordinator—we’re here to help guide you to the right next step!
Our Mission
Our goal is to grow each player's skating and gameplay skills while building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of hockey—all while having fun on the ice.
Make-Up Classes
There may be an opportunity for a make-up class on another day that there are lessons. Only one make-up class per session will be allowed and has to be made up in the same session, not in a future session.
Make-Up Classes are not guaranteed.
