Skating is a lifetime sport that can be enjoyed as a youth and continued throughout the golden years of life. It provides an amazing cardiovascular workout, offers many levels of advancement, and when done correctly, provides both a physical and mental workout for the whole body.

River City Sportplex offers several weekly public skating sessions.  During the day, public sessions are bright and lively with music that ranges from country to rock to pop.  These sessions are not freestyle sessions and no camel spins, flying spins or fully rotated jumps are allowed for the safety of the other skaters.
