Today's subject is Broomball. 1. It takes two teams, with 6 players each including a goalie. 2. To play the game, shoes or boots are worn while needing a paddle shape stick using a small ball played on rough indoor or outdoor ice. 3. The first documented broomball game was recorded in Perdue, Saskatchewan on March 5, 1909. 4. By the 1980s, organized broomball was being played in several different countries. 5. IFBA stands for International Federation Broomball Association
